Kelley Music Scholarship Fund Concert

It has been three long years since we have updated everyone on the Barbara Kelley Music Scholarship Fund activities. During the pandemic, we have continued scholarship support of UTC music students through the Fund. Also related to the pandemic, we were unable to host concert performances for the scholarship winners for the past two and a half years. We are pleased to report that the concert series will resume this year. Christ Church will again host a concert of scholarship winners plus a variety of other talent on February 19th, 2023, at 3 pm, with a reception to follow in Fox Hall.

All fundraising activity was paused during the past three years. The donations from the first two years were exceptional and allowed the Kelley Music Scholarship Fund to not only continue, but also thrive during the pandemic years. We are pleased to report that as promised, every dollar donated was given directly to an aspiring performer in the former of a college scholarship and we are ready to resume fundraising. With two main ways to donate directly to the fund, your generous donations to the scholarship fund are greatly appreciated.

• If you wish to mail a check, please make it out to Christ Church and write Kelley Music Scholarship Fund in the memo line, and mail to: Christ Church, 661 Douglas St, Chattanooga, TN, 37403.

All donations are tax-deductible, and you will receive a receipt of donation from the church.

We hope you will join us for the scholarship performance to enjoy these talented students along with additional experienced vocalists and musicians who will be joining them to perform at the event. This concert doesn’t coincide with Barbara Kelley’s birthday as it has in the past, however, we are also planning to host the Fall ’23 scholarship winners with a concert in November near her birthday.
